A short cycle route near the Gite

As an easy starter cycle route from our Gite, we suggest the following. Heading out from the gite, turn left at Madame Lazarie’s cross on the D102. (The granite cross fell into disrepair many years ago: it was reputed to be the “Carrefour” at the centre of the legend of the “Beast of Milvain”). A succession of left turns along quiet and scenic country lanes though traditional Mayennais farming land, brings you back to the gite.
