Direct bookings can be made via our contact form on this website, via email or facebook messenger. We try to be as flexible as possible with direct bookings. We normally take the total booking fee in advance, but not until a maximum of 30 days before arrival. Up to 4 days before arrival, cancellation is free, in accordance with our direct bookings terms and conditions. After that, we have to keep the full booking fee. Our direct booking diary is managed by FreeToBook.
Online bookings may be made via various booking agents, such as Booking.Com, AirBnB, Gite-de-France or others. Generally, these companies impose their own conditions on us so we have very little flexibility over prices, cancellations or deposit fees. The agents may require additional information and normally require payment in full at the time of booking. They each have their own rules for cancellation charges. You should read their terms and conditions very carefully, to make sure they apply in your case.
Electric Vehicles cannot be charged here
We are not insured for and have no charging equipment for charging of electric vehicles. Attempts to use the household supplies are likely to be dangerous and are strictly forbidden. Any damage or necessary repairs caused will be charged for and the event will be reported to our insurers and the major booking sites.
Please make sure your travel insurance is appropriate and up to date.
Cleaning and extra supplies
We take every reasonable precaution for your and our safety. All surfaces are cleaned before you arrive and after you leave. Bedding and towels are fresh for your arrival. If you book for a fortnight or longer, we can change your towels and bedding at no extra charge. You can be sure you are in good hands when you stay with us.
When you arrive, there will be a welcome pack waiting for you, with basic supplies and some local information for your stay. If there is anything you need during your stay, please feel free to contact us during daytime and we will try to help.

Our general booking terms are included in your confirmation and we can explain in more detail if you email us. We reserve the right to charge your card for any damage or losses which we deem significant and are deemed to be your responsibility. If you break, stain or lose anything in the Gite, please tell us straightaway so we can replace, clean or repair the item(s), with minimum impact on your comfort. and enjoyment.
- Please note, this is a rural Gite so there may be local farming activity or other environmental factors outside our control.
- This includes internet connection and wifi speeds. We try to keep communications running smoothly but, sometimes, the provider is working on the resource or there may be storm damage affecting connections.
- Unfortunately, the doorway steps and stairs to reach the bedroom and bathroom mean that our Gite is not suitable for persons who are not fully mobile or in wheelchairs.
