There are plenty of local activities to enjoy around Gite-Milvain. There are sporting events, such as Sunday League Football, organised and informal bike rides and walks, fishing in the nearby lakes and boules courts in nearly every village. Village fetes abound throughout summer, including flower festivals, farming demonstrations and firework displays (for example in Saint Fraimbault, Saint Berthevin La Tanniere and Fougerolles du Plessis). Otherwise, for less active visitors, one can just relax in the countryside, watching the tractors cropping the fields or strolling along quiet lanes in the tranquility of the bocage.
